In order to protect your security, this website uses an SSL certificate and uses an end-to-end encrypted webform through Hushmail. While all reasonable precautions are taken to ensure that user data is secure and that users are protected, there always remains the risk of harm. The Internet as a whole can be insecure at times and therefore Kathryn and Activate Psychotherapy are unable to guarantee the security of user data beyond what is reasonably practical.

Kathryn Palmer M.Ed., RP, C.C.C. is committed to collecting, using, and disclosing personal information responsibly and only to the extent necessary for the psychotherapy services she provides. Kathryn adheres to policies and procedures in compliance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Document Act, 2004 (PIPEDA) and the Personal Health Information Protection Act, 2004 (PHIPA). Kathryn/Activate Psychotherapy collects personal health information about you directly from you or from the person acting on your behalf. The personal health information that Kathryn collects may include, for example, your name, date of birth, address, health history, record of your visits at Activate Psychotherapy and the support you received during those visits. Note that any emails you send to Kathryn/Activate Psychotherapy will become part of your clinical file.

Please note that a client’s instruction cannot prevent Kathryn from recording information that is required by law, professional standards or her practice.
